A long time ago I went to Disneyland...

And guess what? It really is the happiest place on earth!
(that's right, it's a mall worl - whatever that means)

Using super expired film gave these shots such an old-family-snapshot-look. I love how they feel like memories.

Anyone have any favorite Disney-related memories they'd like to share? I'd love to hear.

In junior high I was a member of a very informal club consisting of those who'd never been to Disneyland and who didn't have cable TV.

I still meet both qualifications.

That's a cute baby you've got there. Also, a cute lady holding a ticket!

um I love these! I went to disneyland for my 9th birthday (at least thats what my parents told me) and I had a blast and when I look at pictures I think about how I didn't care about what clothes I wore or brushing my hair. I am embarrassed by them but it was a very happy time.

One of my happiest memories is sharing a day at Disney Land with my mom. Nothing spectacular happened, I just look back on that day with a deep fondness that I just can't explain.
Also, where can I see the rest of the pictures?

I'm going to sound like a really bitter person, but I have never liked disneyland! maybe it's cuz we only lived an hour from it and it just wasn't special since i went all the time growing up. but man. i can't stand the crowds and the terrible music. haha. sorry.

i LOVE the second to last shot. so cool!!!!!!

Hey, to each his own, right? The lovely ladies I went to Disneyland with live very close as well and I think it's fair to say that they've practically grown up in Walt's backyard. They still find it magical and lovely. Perhaps it was their company that helped me have such a great experience.

Also, while I expected to come away from my first Disney experience quite cynical - I was instead completely enveloped in Disney magic. The customer service is TOP NOTCH and I only wish I had been able to go sooner.

Hmm, Disneyland memories...like when my entire family went for Spring Break and left me behind because it was during BYU finals. And then called to brag about it. I'm still bitter. Luckily John and I got season passes after we got married and used them frequently even though we lived in UT and TN at the time. I'm glad you had a good time. John's family is obsessed. His aunt and uncle are going to France just so they can go to Euro Disney.

That is where my dear sister Liz forced me to get over my deep fear of rollar coasters. I seriously thought my heart would stop beating as we dove towards the briar patch. Tangible terror is what it was. I was 20 years old.

Katie, are you talking about Splash Mountain.

Seriously the scariest thing at Disneyland! I thought I would die on that ride. I almost jumped out.
